Gwenyfar Rohler has been reading as long as she can remember. She is the managing partner of Old Books on Front Street, downtown Wilmington’s family-owned independent bookstore.

Of all her writing, her favorite piece is a children’s book she wrote as a wrote as a fundraiser for a local nonprofit, the Full Belly Project, “The Promise of Peanuts. A Real Life Fairy Tale.” It’s about a man, a village and the promise that bound them together.
