“Over 80 percent of women who chose abortion say that if they felt even just one person supported another decision, they would not have chosen to have an abortion.”
~ Life Line Pregnancy Center Adopt-A-Bottle Campaign flyer.

Life Line Pregnancy Center located at 4524 Fountain Drive, Wilmingon, provides pregnancy tests, counseling and ultrasounds to women facing an unplanned pregnancy. In 2011, the number women in need of their services rose to 1,257 visits and 871 clients. Out of those visits, the center provided almost 600 pregnancy tests and approximately 400 ultrasounds. An astounding 88 percent chose to keep their baby rather than to abort.

Every year, the center runs the Adopt-A-Bottle Campaign to raise awareness and funding. Special baby bottles sporting the campaign logo and Life Line information are filled with loose change by those participating. The campaign runs throughout the year, but many churches and participating organizations supporting Life Line choose to give out the bottles on Mother’s Day and collect them on Father’s Day.

Father’s Day is almost here, but it’s never too late to support Life Line either by starting an Adopt-A-Bottle campaign at your local faith house or donating through their website: www.lifelinewilmington.org.
