This summer in Southeastern North Carolina, it might seem like it's hotter than it's ever been - especially with forecasters predicting mid-to-high 90's temperatures this week.
But does that mean our world is really getting warmer? How do you feel about global warming?
In May, some climate change experts said the Earth is actually cooling itself.
Many who deny global warming exists do so out of religious beliefs.
But if you believe in global warming caused by humans' increasing use of fossil fuels, do we have a moral obligation to help reverse the damage?
WilmingtonFAVS' writers dug into this question this week.
What are your thoughts on global warming?

The overwhelming majority of the science community, with the glaring exception of the corporate “hired guns,” think global warming is a slam dunk. Those deniers who do so for “religious” reasons are the same ones who deny evolution, reject stem cell therapy, and science in general. The science and history found in the Bible is good enough for them. If these people had grown up in the mountains of NC or WV, they would be snake handlers.
Do we have an obligation to reverse the damage? We do if we respect Creation, love our children, and believe in the concept of brotherly love. If not, let it burn!
