St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church at 612 South College Road will host a Lenten Prayer Retreat 8 a.m. -4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, from Sung Morning prayer (Matins) at 8:30am, other daily prayer offices throughout the day, sung Evening prayer (Vespers) at 4pm. Teaching on the historic daily prayer offices by liturgical scholar, The Rev. Dr. Frank Senn, Senior of the Society of the Holy Trinity. Cost $35 includes breakfast and lunch.
