BRIEF: Stuff the Bus this weekend at Port City Community Church

Each year, Wilmington's first megachurch, Port City Community Church collects a bus full of school supplies from its membership and delivers it to area schools. This year the program called Stuff the Bus is at each of the PC3 services on Sunday (Aug. 5).

The church's web site has a list of supplies here. Plus, it's tax free weekend in North Carolina, so shoppers can save a little money for a good cause.

Last year, the church gave more than $26,000 of school supplies to New Hanover and Brunswick county schools, said Emily Glenham in a PC3 video about Stuff the Bus. She's the mission coordinator for the church.
