Meet Deborah Culp, our life transitions writer

Deborah Culp will be our new life transitions writer. And by life transitions, we mean caregiving, dealing with a loved one's death, dating after age 50 and empty nesting topics, all from a spiritual point of view.

Believe me, Culp has lived through all of those phases of life.

She is a freelance journalist  and consultant with more than 20 years of hard-earned experience in the business. This includes print and broadcast media.

Originally from Detroit, she now lives in Wilmington. She is a correspondent to Divine Caroline, TPEPost News, The History of Jazz Music and For Colored Gurls and has written for the StarNews. Culp recently became the parent and family expert for the Examiner.com for Wilmington and Fayetteville. Still operating as a freelance writer/photographer, she also is working on her first book; “Then there was laughter” and has a few business endeavors in the fire.

She is a staunch volunteer and loves her family and is a member and publicist for New Beginnings Christian Church.

Welcome, aboard Deborah!
