After their first year starting a church hosting program providing emergency shelter for homeless residents in Brunswick County last year, Brunswick County Streetreach will begin their second Winter Night Sheltering Program on Nov. 1- February 2013.

Last season, the ministry network of Brunswick County churches served about 120 homeless residents and worked with other interfaith ministries to help them find temporary and permanent housing. 

Churches involved in this year's winter nights network include , Building Hope Ministries, Breath of Life Ministries, Generations Church, New Ebenezer Faith Ministries, New Life Christian Fellowship, Ocean View United Methodist, Sharon United Methodist Church and Shoreline Baptist Church. 

Each church hosts homeless residents for one week, and the site switches the next week.
