BRIEF: Compassion 2012 fundraiser to benefit Comfort Socks charity

New Life Christian Fellowship in Supply is hosting Compassion 2012, a benefit for Comfort Socks at 2 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 4) at the church, 2162 Stone Chimney Road. The event will feature musical entertainers Brent Tyndall, Tracy Parker and Cindy Reed. The performance is free, but a love offering will be collected to benefit Comfort Socks, a ministry that provides new socks to homeless shelters in the area.
