BRIEF: St. Mary Catholic Church to host regional Latino conference

On September 15-16, St. Mary Parish will host SEPI (Southeastern Pastoral Institute)’s annual gathering of young Catholic Hispanic adults. About 120 Hispanic young adults from 13 states on the East coast are expected to attend the conference, according to The Rev. Bob Kus of St. Mary.

"Each year, the gathering has a theme, and from this theme, the representatives write a book in both English and Spanish," Kus wrote in his weekly newsletter. "Last year’s theme focused on the use of technology in evangelization.  This year the group will focus on “The Year of Faith.”
