St. Stanislaus Catholic Church to hold “Fortnight to Freedom” Event

The Very Rev. Marcos Leon-Angulo, V.F., Reverend, Dean of the Cape Fear Deanery, and Reverend Roger Malonda Nyimi, newly assigned Pastor of St. Stanislaus parish,, will concelebrate Mass with during a "Fortnight to Freedom" event in our area.

The deanery Mass will take place on Friday, June 29th, at 11:30 .a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church,which is located at  4849 Castle Hayne Road in Castle Hayne.  This event allows an opportunity for those that could not travel to participate in the Bishop’s Mass held last week. 

The Mass will begin with a rosary at 11:30 a.m., Mass, Eucharistic procession with the Blessed Sacrament, Divine Mercy chaplet followed by Benediction.  Those attending are encourage to bring friends and visitors.  At the conclusion, there will be a reception in the Parish Hall.  Please bring covered dish items for the reception and call 910-297-4875 to let the organizers  know what your are bringing so that efforts can be coordinated.  Please also call if you have any questions.  This event will give the community the opportunity to welcome Father Nyimi and say farewell to Padre Leon, thanking him for his support for pro-life in the deanery , and to say "Job well done!"
