Where in the world is the Rev. Jenny Wilson?

Our women and ministry writer, the Rev. Jenny Wilson has moved.

She was the pastor of Wrightsboro United Methodist Church near Castle Hayne.

But at the end of June, Bishop Alfred Gwinn, Jr. asked her to move to Apex United Methodist Church to help lead that very unique church.

"It's a new model of ministry for us, and I'm the only woman in the conference doing it," she said.

The multi-site ministry model she manages in Apex is most often seen in nondenominational churches nationwide. Apex UMC has four different campuses currently and is adding one more in October.

Wilson will continue writing about the challenges and triumphs of women in ministry for WilmingtonFAVS.

Good luck Jenny!
