Is it our moral right to own a gun?

Poll: Is it a moral right to own a gun?

  • Yes
  • No
  • I'm undecided on this issue.

The recent mass shootings in a Colorado movie theater have raised the age-old ethical question in America -- should there be more gun control in this country?

The gun control debate is in the news right now, but some say the Colorado shootings won't be enough to make gun control a major 2012 election issue.

Yes, we have a legal, constitutional right to bear arms. But is it a moral right?

Does having a gun mean that you'll use it? And will someone get hurt or possibly killed because of that choice?

Or are guns fine just as hunting and recreational tools?

Tell us your feelings on gun control and rights?

  1. While I do believe in the right for Americans to own guns - I don’t believe our forefathers intended or could forsee the use for individuals to own assault weapons. There is absolutley no practical use for someone to own an assult rifle.

  2. Thank you for reading, Robb!
