Poll: Is smart technology damaging our humanity?

With our mobile universe and an app for everything, what happened to old-timey letter correspondence or - gasp - talking to each other.

Teens can have entire conversations in the same room without ever speaking through phone texting.

At the same time, having the news at our finger tips means that, potentially, we'll stay more informed about world events.

Hence the heavy question of the week -- Is smart technology damaging our humanity?

Are we less connected to our families because we're wired to our phones?

And we realize we're partly culpable in this since you're probably reading this on a phone, tablet or computer right now.
