Poll: Will you support Chic-fil-A Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Aug. 1?

  • Yes, I love fried chicken!
  • Yes, I'm supporting Chic-fil-A's position on gay marriage.
  • No, I disagree with the company's position.
  • No, I'm a vegetarian.

Spurred by a controversy surrounding Chic-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy's public statements against gay marriage, and other companies who've since come out publicly on either side of the debate, commentator and former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee started a national movement called Chic-fil-A Appreciation Day.

The statement from the N.C. Values Coalition about the day said: "Grab your family, your coworkers, friends from church, and head to your local Chick-fil-A branch to share a meal.  Before you eat, pray for Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, the Chick-fil-A family, and all those in the public sphere to continue their boldness in affirming marriage the way God designed it... as between one man and one woman.

How do you feel about this controversy?
