BRIEF: During the DNC, Nuns on the Bus Tour leader coming to speak on Thursday

Sister Simone Campbell, SSS, Executive Director of NETWORK, A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby, will speak at 10 a.m. Sept. 6 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Charlotte about the issues she and other Catholic sisters raised during the "Nuns on the Bus" tour June 17-July 2. The event is free.

The Nuns on the Bus tour traveled through nine states highlighting the work of Catholic sisters, meeting people they serve and campaigning against Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan's proposed budget cuts. Campbell's visit is being promoted from the official Democratic National Convention web site.
