Church of the Servant, Episcopal (COS) presents the 28th Annual Lobster Fest on Saturday, June 9, 2012, noon to 5 p.m. at Church of the Servant, 4925 Oriole Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403. Averaging 1.25 pounds, the fresh lobsters are available live for $19 or cooked for $21. The two dinner selections are the “Classic” with cooked lobster, cole slaw, corn on the cob and a roll for $24 and the other is a “COS Boil” with cooked lobster, sausage, new potatoes, cole slaw, corn on the cob, and roll for $25. Or skip the lobster and order the “Landlubber’s Special“: sausage, corn on the cob, new potatoes, cole slaw and roll for $10. Extra sides and fresh baked desserts will be available. Take your meal home or eat it at the “Lobster Shak,” where friendly experts help you open your lobster.
Host a Lobster Fest Party at your home, on your party boat, business, club or have a neighborhood block party. It’s a great idea for your 2012 graduation party! Free delivery is available for orders of 15 or more.
Harbor Island at Wrightsville Beach has its own Lobster Fest Block Party where the lobsters are cooked on the spot. Just order and pay $22 per lobster and pick them up when you arrive. The block party begins at 7:00pm on June 9 on the Live Oak Drive median. Bring your own covered dish for sharing, beverage, and chairs.
