Vigil brings UNCW students together for Boston and Virginia Tech

About 200 University of North Carolina Wilmington students gathered in the Fisher Student Union amphitheater Tuesday night (April 16) for a candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings and the anniversary of the Virginia Tech shootings.

Male UNCW students “walk a mile” in women’s shoes to protest domestic violence

The Walk in Her Shoes event on April 11 at UNCW's Chancellor's Walk  was a Student Government Association initiative to ask male students to speak up and be aware of women who've been victims of domestic violence.
