I honestly believe that if Americans do not get their obsessive use of hoarding possessions our planet is definitely not going to have clean waterways free of debris; water that is pure to drink; housing for all and food that is good to eat. How we keep buying and throwing out hurts the environment tremendously. If you have a lot of stuff….repurpose it or consign it because your junk is someone else’s treasure and do not just throw it out where it stays in landfills forever never breakdown and just polluting the earth. As much as I would like to think that we are not alone…right now …..this earth is all we have so we need to be very kind to it!

  2. You are right Melody. We do need to take care of the earth. There are so many places we an donate items we don’t want anymore, and more and more things can be recycled and re-purposed. Speaking of hoarding, I seem to be hoarding emails from people, blogs or groups I’ve subscribed to that I can’t keep up with. My inbox is more cluttered than my closet which is filled with too many thrift store bargains. In the name of stress management, which will help me be healthy enough to be here in 2024 (and beyond), I’m not going to let this get to me. I’m just going to have to delete some and unsubscribe to some. The other thing I’m going to do is write a book that might just give somebody hope in 2024. We can all plant seeds. Some seeds will grow into trees that will still be here in ten years. Some will be seeds of hope….
